When Sungsoo surprises his wife Sarah by buying a house, Sarah moves with her husband to the Korean countryside. Their new home feels strangely inhospitable: An eerie old woman suddenly appears out of nowhere, the attractive young neighbor seems a little too familiar with Sungsoo. Then, in the attic, they discover a mysterious vinyl record that produces nothing but the scratch of the needle – and Sarah’s ears begin to bleed.
